1、 CNC milling

2、 Slow moving wire cutting process
It is mainly used for processing various kinds of two-dimensional and three-dimensional ruled surface parts such as stamping die, plastic die and powder metallurgy die. The processing of punch, punch fixed plate, die and discharge plate and many other precision holes, slow wire cutting is an indispensable key technology. In the manufacturing of injection mold, the common applications are insert hole, thimble hole, inclined top hole, cavity cleaning angle and slider processing. Generally speaking, the processing accuracy requirement is not as high as that of stamping mold.
Slow wire processing is a high precision processing method, high-end machine tools can achieve less than 3 μ The surface roughness can reach ra0.05 μ m。 At present, the automatic threading and cutting of 0.02-0.03 mm electrode wire can be realized, and the practical cutting efficiency can reach about 200 mm 2 / min.
3、 Electrical discharge machining
EDM is suitable for machining precision small cavity, narrow slot, groove, corner and other complex parts. When it is difficult for the tool to reach the complex surface, EDM is superior to milling where deep cutting is needed and where the aspect ratio is particularly high. For the machining of high-tech parts, the re discharge of milling electrode can improve the success rate. Compared with the high cost of cutting tools, the re discharge machining is more suitable. In addition, EDM is used to provide the surface of spark lines where EDM finishing is required.
4、 Grinding machine processing
Grinder is a kind of precision equipment for finishing parts, especially for hardened parts. The grinding machines used in mold processing are mainly plane grinding machine, universal internal and external grinding machine, coordinate grinding machine (PG optical curve grinding machine).
Small flat grinding machine is mainly used to process small-size mold parts, such as precision insert, precision die core, slider and so on. Large water grinder is often used for large size template processing. Now, the surface grinder grinding wheel linear speed and table movement speed has become a common trend, due to the use of linear guide, linear motor, hydrostatic screw and other advanced functional components technology, the movement speed has made great progress, in addition, the grinding wheel dressing technology has been continuously improved.
5、 CNC lathe
CNC lathe is also a common processing equipment in mold workshop. Its processing range is all revolving parts. Due to the high development of numerical control technology, the complex shape of the revolving body can be easily realized by programming, and the machine tool can automatically change the tool, greatly improving the production efficiency. The machining accuracy and manufacturing technology of CNC lathe are becoming more and more perfect, and even there is a trend of turning instead of grinding. It is commonly used to process round inserts, support heads, positioning rings and other parts in molds, and is widely used in pen molds and bottle mouth molds. In fact, the function of advanced CNC lathe is no longer limited to "turning", it has been expanded to turn milling machine tool, a complex, multi process parts, even can be processed all at once.
